I'm not going to lie, I had no idea Katy Perry could actually sing. Bravo to her.

The pop singer covered a part of Adele's hit song 'Someone Like You' in the middle of performing her new single 'The One That Got Away' in a concert. 

The crowd was obviously happy to hear her sing it but it's just an awkward time to sing it, don't you think? Also, she doesn't have anything on Adele's amazing vocals.

Hot celebrity Katy Perry helped kick off the first day of the Rock in Rio Festival in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on Friday, this hot celebrity taking the stage for a colorful performance.

The 26-year-old energized the crowd with a rendition of songs including "Firework," "California Gurls," "Waking Up In Vegas" and "Hot n Cold" while even sharing a smooch with a lucky fan in attendance.

Back in Rio de Janeiro for the first time since 2001 after taking place in Lisbon and Madrid over the past decade, Rock in Rio is the largest music and entertainment event in history, with nine editions held in Brazil, Portugal and Spain. 

The festival is taking place this year on September 23, 24, 25 & 30 and October 1&2 at the Olympic Park City of Rock, in Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro.

Along with Katy, other acts gracing the stage include Rihanna, Elton John, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Metallica, Ke$ha, Shakira, Lenny Kravitz, Coldplay, and Guns N' Roses.

Katy Perry's Hair Gets Worse & So Does Her Oufit Choice!

You were so hot with your jet black hair so why in the world would you go and do this to yourself Katy Perry?

The popular pop-singer was spotted out and about at a gas station in Los Angeles , CA today.

Looks like Katy has a bit of the munchies considering she's carrying a bag of Flaming Hot Cheetos. Girl should really try the one's with Lime added to them, it's life changing.

Still no word on whether this will be the color she finally stays at or if she'll darken it up. Guess we'll just have to wait and see. In the meantime, I'll be in the corner praying that she gets some sense knocked into her and changes this hair asap.

Katy Perry Has Pink Hair!

Singer Katy Perry was spotted out and about in Hollywood on Monday sporting a new color...and it wasn't her new blonde color either. Katy was photographed with bright pink hair that still showed some of her blonde roots.

She's been pretty secretive about the color she's aiming for but tweeted somewhat of a hint on July 25:

“I have been dying my hair since 10pm! Good GOD let me get to my destination tonight! #beenblack #beenblue #beenhotginge #beenblonde #now…” later adding, “Still transitioning…………… practicing patience!”

I'm not really liking the pink on her either but at least I no longer have to say how much I don't like her with blonde hair every time I see a photo of her, ha-ha. Let hope whatever the end color result is, it's better than these last two.

Katy Perry Goes Blonde!

The {normally} raven hared singer has opted to drastically change her hair by going blonde!

Katy Perry, who's a natural blonde debuted her new 'do on-air MTV News interview on Thursday. It wasn't easy for the 26-year-old singer to get her hair this color though & she tweeted all about it:

"So I didn't get to the exact color I wanted from being black for so long! To get to goal I have to be a ginger for three weeks! If I don't wait three weeks, I'll end up with no hair or a pixie '90s cut with a barrette in the front. It's okay, I'll get to my secret color(s) soon!" Perry said over multiple tweets.

 Besides showing off her new hair color, she also nabbed nine MTV Video Music Awards nominations including Video of the Year (for "Firework") and Best Pop Video.

"OMG! I just got word that I'm nominated for 9 MTV VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS!!! I'm kinda speechless/nervous/turned on! NOW it's up to YOU to VOTE!" she Tweeted Wednesday night.

Good for her! But, the hair color...I don't really care for it. I don't know if it's that I'm used to seeing her with black hair but this blonde color just looks strange.

Pop-singer Katy Perry and her actor husband Russell Brand just bought themselves a new house...not just any house though.

The couple who married in October 2010 purchased a $6.5 million home in Hollywood Hills, CA, according the L.A. Times.

The 3 story, 8,835 square foot Mediterranean-style home has 9 bathrooms, a giant pool, a guest house, screening room, pub, study and 7 bedrooms - including a 5 room master suite. Wowza!

The house doesn't look all that special from the outside but boy is it something else once you get inside...
