A Stranger Came Ashore by Mollie Hunter
Today we are on the topic of selkies, here are some selkie books for your consideration. Note that some of these are adult content, but I didn't have the opportunity to evaluate them. This is by no means comprehensive, but it is a decent compilation. (And I must confess that I first learned about selkies by reading Powers That Be (Petaybee, Book 1) by Anne McCaffrey and Elizabeth Ann Scarborough as a teenager! My exposure to them previously had been negligible. And I didn't even like that trilogy very much. McCaffrey was very important to my teen self as one of the few women writers available in my local bookstore's SF/Fantasy section.)
